This bed has gorgeous colouring and fabulous patina, this mahogany has a delightfully deep and rich colouring. The posts are tapered and fluted, with brass inlay details. Brass has been used to bevel the edges of the inset panel details. Truly a very handsome bed indeed, which we have cleaned and restored to ensure a solid and sturdy bed. The frame has been professionally restored with rails extended to support modern king size mattress inside the side rails 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm. Whole bed has been checked and sympathetically restored to ensure solid, sturdy construction and good assembly. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
