Very Nice French Sleigh King Size with Delightful Low End – Includes Bed Base

This lovely Sleigh Bed has been lovingly restored and waxed to bring out the lovely warm colouring of the wood. The head end features three diamond and flower carvings, this is mirrored on the inside of the foot. Pretty floral carvings feature on the sides of the scrolls of the sleigh. Lovely low end makes this a perfect bed to create an open feel in the room with the luxury of a sleigh style bed. Made using traditional methods i.e. tenons and pegs, we have attached angle iron on the inside of the side rail to support slats or a bed base - 2" bed base included. Price includes Bed Base (sorry not mattress). This bed will happily take a modern mattress size 5’ x 6’6”. Base supplied is 5’1” x 6’6” in black and white ticking.
