This striking king size bed combines sturdy functionality, with handsome attractiveness. Lovely detail in the clamps and castings, with original brass disks and collars. The aged egg-shaped finials give a unique touch to the bed, adding to its overall charm. The frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted in Little Greene’s Lamp Black, waxed to give a soft sheen and to preserve. We have extended the side rails to fit a modern king size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm. Siderails will support a bed base or slats. Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” or 4” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on slats. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices. We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol. Local, National and International delivery can be arranged.
