Splendid and Attractive Super King Sized Victorian Bed

This splendidly attractive super king-sized Edwardian bed has lovely detail in the decorative castings and clamps. The foot end has two attractive upstands which look particularly attractive, these again have great detail and are very pretty. Very nice brass finials and rails have been buffed to a lovely shine, which we think really compliments the colours of the bed. This bed has a specialist hand painted finish, using Little Greene’s Olive and Boxington colours, with a very subtle dark wax to preserve and give a soft sheen. Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frame has been shot blasted, primed, hand painted and waxed. The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). Suitable for mattress size 180 x 200cm / 6’ x 6’6”. We can also supply two 3’ zip and link mattresses, this can be a useful option for those with tricky staircases to navigate. As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” or 4” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on slats and with our Bordeaux mattress. We can also supply two 3’ zip and link mattresses We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol. Local, National and International delivery can be arranged.
