Handsome early upholstered French Lit Bateau king size bed suitable for a 5' x 6'6"/150cm x200cm mattress size inside the rails or could have a 5'3" x 6'6" mattress on top of the rails. The rolls on the head and foot end are striking with a three panel foot board.. Lovely aged patina in original wood edge, cleaned and waxed to preserve. Carved detail is well executed.Side rails been expertly extended to fit 200cm length mattress comfortably. The bed has been professionally reupholstered ni natural linen with double piping edge. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) We can also supply mini box bases 2"/4" with platform top or 4"with springs for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
