Spectacular Victorian original king size all brass half tester bed. Lovely chunky feet, knees, collars and knobs at head end. Curtain rail support with pretty wings for drapes if desired. Very pretty brass details in both head ad foot board. This lovely bed has been checked for well fitting joints and rails have been adapted to support wood slats at a standard king size mattress length size of 150cm x 200cm/ 5' x 6'6" . The bed has been professionally restored having been stripped and re built to to ensure all connections are secure and there are no rattles.Brass cleaned to preserve natural aged patina. This really is a one off individual antique bed. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
