French solid carveoak marriage bed. Lovely flourishing shaping and naive carvings of cornucopia’s brimming with flowers and a productive seasons harvest, symbolising abundance and good tidings for the marriage. Two birds entwined feature on the headboard of the bed, again amongst plentiful flowers and leaves. This bed rather fabulously also features carving detail on the inside of the foot, giving a beautiful view whilst in bed. The siderails also feature bird and flower carving. Price includes wood slats.(sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. <The bed is photographed with a 2" platform top base> We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices.
