Alluringly Attractive Victorian King Size with Brass

This very attractive bed has a lovely feel to it, not only in aesthetics, but also through its sturdy construction. The robust and highly attractive clamps are a really nice feature to the frame, and support the reed strip ironwork which connect to form a lovely circular motive in the centre. The foot end features all original brass which has been cleaned and polished to bring out the naturally aged patina. Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene’s Obsidian Green, waxed to preserve. The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Suitable for mattress size 150cm x 200cm / 5’ x 6’6” Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” or 4” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on 2” base. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
