Attractive French Iron Double No End Bed with Floral Detail

A double size French iron bed with attractive shaping in the head end. The sweeping arch has a lovely, strong aesthetic feel, mirrored by the sturdiness of the frame. The original floral details are painted brass which we have waxed to preserve. The frame has been hand painted in Little Greene’s Hammock colour, waxed to preserve and give a soft sheen, and tone. Professionally restored to be incredibly sturdy, the frame has been shot blasted and primed. The side rails have been strengthened, lengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Suitable for modern double mattress 140cm x 190cm / 135cm x 190cm / 4’6” x 6’3”. Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” deep upholstered boxed base – Bed photographed on slats. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol. Local, National and International delivery can be arranged.
