This superbly sweet 2’6 Victorian Iron and Brass Bed is perfect for smaller rooms, or a guest bedroom. It features an attractive design in the head end highlighted with three brass disks bringing a touch of luxury to this very sweet bed. The top corners feature an intricately cast design in good detail. This bed has been sympathetically adapted and restored with side rails extended and fashioned to support wood slats and modern small single mattress 2’6 x 6’3 / 75cm x 190cm. The aged iron has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finish with Little Greene paint company Jet Black and waxed to preserve. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base (Slat base used for photographs). We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please ask for details or look at mattress section of our own web site.
