Cherry wood

Cherry has a log history in furniture manufacture due to its superior woodworking qualities. It is a light, strong and stiff hardwood, with a fine uniform straight grain and smooth texture. Cherry is light reddish-brown in colour and darkens considerably with age and exposure to sunlight.

Louis XV Style

Curving lines, cabriole legs, an asymmetrical design and ornate carving of natural forms; shells, flowers are the key elements of the Louis XV style. These Rococo influenced beds became popular in Europe in the late Nineteenth Century.
