Louis 15 restored antique in cream

Lovingly restored antique upholstered Louis XV, painted in cream and upholstered in soft blue toille. This bed could be reupholstered in your fabric if preferred. Also the maximum width of this bed is 5'3" so a larger base and mattress could be supplied. We supply handmade bases and mattresses in standard though to top of the range comfort choices.

Upholstery

Some beds retain their original fabrics, condition permitting. However, we do offer an upholstery service.
In this way our customers are able to select a fabric of their choice and participate fully in the restoration process.
Bed frames are offered in natural wood finishes, a wide range of paint effects or can be hand polished to work with your existing furniture.

Louis XV Style

Curving lines, cabriole legs, an asymmetrical design and ornate carving of natural forms; shells, flowers are the key elements of the Louis XV style. These Rococo influenced beds became popular in Europe in the late Nineteenth Century.
