Spectacular super kingsize antique bedstead from France with turned knobs restored in soft cream and French blue/grey fabric in keeping with the period of the bed and with double piped edge. We can supply top of the range bases and mattresses to make this bed as delightful and comfortable to sleep in as it looks.

The upholstered bedstead has been a perennial favourite in France during the last 100 years and, as a result, has been made in large numbers. We will normally, therefore, have a number of examples in our collection, in various styles and sizes.

Upholstery

Some beds retain their original fabrics, condition permitting. However, we do offer an upholstery service.
In this way our customers are able to select a fabric of their choice and participate fully in the restoration process.
Bed frames are offered in natural wood finishes, a wide range of paint effects or can be hand polished to work with your existing furniture.
