Carved oak framed antique French upholstered bed, reupholstered in cream fabric, very individual style not over fussy and yet graceful. Good patina in the wood.c1900.

Upholstery

Some beds retain their original fabrics, condition permitting. However, we do offer an upholstery service.
In this way our customers are able to select a fabric of their choice and participate fully in the restoration process.
Bed frames are offered in natural wood finishes, a wide range of paint effects or can be hand polished to work with your existing furniture.

Oak wood

It would be difficult to name a wood with a longer and more illustrious history in furnishings. Oak is a heavy, very strong and hard wood with great wear-resistance. It has a course texture with prominent grain, and can be stained with a range of finish tones.
