B.718A striking super kingsize brass and iron bedstead restored in antique white with Art Noveau brass plaques spindles and discs. This bed was probably made in London in the early 1900s. We supply upholstered bases with firm or sprung tops and handmade mattresses of the highest quality to make this as comfortable as it is striking.
Most of these brass and iron antique beds were made in the second half of the 19th century and originate from
England and Western Europe.
Brass and iron beds became very popular from around 1840 and vary from simple ironwork to
intricate combinations of iron and brass, porcelain and hand painted finishes.
