D end upholstered French antique bed

This lovely antique French upholstered bed with flowing lines and three panels on the foot board can be reupholsterd in your fabric with flat top or buttoning as original. This bed will easily take a full 5' width mattress with a shaped bottom to fit snuggly into the curved foot board. We can supply these in your comfort choice.

The upholstered bedstead has been a perennial favourite in France during the last 100 years and, as a result, has been made in large numbers. We will normally, therefore, have a number of examples in our collection, in various styles and sizes.

Upholstery

Some beds retain their original fabrics, condition permitting. However, we do offer an upholstery service.
In this way our customers are able to select a fabric of their choice and participate fully in the restoration process.
Bed frames are offered in natural wood finishes, a wide range of paint effects or can be hand polished to work with your existing furniture.
