This timelessly fashionable pair of late Victorian single beds features a contemporary feeling geometric or leaf design (we couldn’t decide which was more accurate!) in the head end with a lovely arching shape. These beds have a surprisingly contemporary feel given they are over 100 years old, a testament to their enduring style. Hand painted in Little Greene’s Olive colour, with highlights and lowlights of Little Greene’s Obsidian green and Sage green, waxed to preserve and give a soft sheen. Professionally restored to be incredibly sturdy, the frame has been shot blasted and primed. The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Suitable for a modern single mattress 90cm x 190cm Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” deep upholstered boxed base – Bed photographed on slats. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
