Gorgeous French Empire style , king size upholstered bed with naturally aged painted carved frame that has very individual carved corner details The bed has been professionally restored with paintwork cleaned and waxed to preserve natural ageing. Joints checked for good fit and rails extended to support modern standard king size mattress 150cm x 200 cm. Could take a European king size 150cm x 200cm on top of rails The lovely original French fabric, is in good usable condition which has also been cleaned and freshened. Price includes wood slats.(sorry not mattress) As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. <The bed is photographed with a 2" platform top base> We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices.
