With all the solid cast iron strength and detail associated with beautiful Victorian antique beds this has the more modern light weight silhouette.Open foot end increases the sense of lightness. Quality simple decorations in the decorative castings with lovely details of rail loops and saddles to secure the head board in position. The whole bed can be dismantled for ease of transport and access to the room and then easily reassembled in the room. The joints for the side rails have been checked for good fit and lengthened, strengthened and adapted to support wood slats. The frame has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finish in Ateleir Elis paint Fallen Plum and then waxed ro preserve.
